Comment: I have some questions regarding the HPE PRO equipment. First of all i need know which hdd models are supported and which not. In the premium pack, for multi platter disks do you have to remove the platter one by one or you can remove all of them at once. Also do you have any equipment for head allignment, especially for WD drives?Thanx for your time.

Comment: Hi, I have one Maxtor D540-X 4D, and the BIOS does not see as supost, BIOS see Maxtor Romulus and I can´t see it in the Windows.
I ve got some questions.
1.Can I recovery my data from it with HD Doctor?
2.Is it a Firmware fail?

I changed the PC Board but it did not work

Im sorry about my English, I hope you guys understand.

Reply: 1. There is a large chance for you to recovery the data on the drive by using our HD Doctor for Maxtor. Just change the jumper setting to safe mode, start the drive using an idetical BOOT file from a firmware backup and carry out a FW Defect Scan, repair any failed module found by using an identical firmware backup, your data will be retrieved, even your hard drive will be back to normal also.

2. It is a typical manifestation of a firmware malfunction, because you didn´t mention there is any HEAD clicking or drive motor problem.
