Fixed Bugs and Updated Features
The unstable issues on read/write firmware, bootup HDD, selfscan, G-2-P, wrong capacity display in version 4.2 have been corrected in version 4.7. And some new features and a new series have been added to the ST family. However it is a beta version for our customer to test the results. Therefore feedbacks are highly appreciated and helpful for us to make progress.

New features
1. Add new ST hard drive of laptop LARAMIE with functions: read/write firmware, password removal, firmware diagnosis, read ROM, write ROM, F-level repair, model /series number modification, LBA modification, zero filling/self-scan, head depop, section disable, bad sectors go P/G list etc.

2. Add quick write-ATA function to barracuda 1 to 10 and laptop hard drives, which extremely improve the ATA write speed and success rate.

3. Add the function of auto shielding the read-only and CF repair (common fault repair) for hard drives which the program is not able to deal with currently, protecting from fault operation.

Bugs fixed or improved
1. Fixed or improved the bug of firmware read error or firmware read unstable
2. Fixed or improved the G-list to P-list function of barracuda 7200.11 and 7200.12
3. Fixed or improved the capacity error info of only showing “1000”

New series added

LARAMIE is a new series of laptop hard drive from Seagate. Because it is relatively new in market and the hard drives’ attribution are ever changing, at present we only add ST9808212AS to this family list of Seagate HDD repair tools. And once we accumulate enough this family series hard drive, we will add them to our future upgrades helping you with higher Seagate data recovery success rate.
