Main features of HD Doctor for Fujitsu & Toshiba
There are two programs included: HD Doctor for Fujitsu and HD Doctor for Toshiba. To work with different brand of HDD, users need to launch different program. Although the program is different, the kernel is the same. Therefore, the features are generally the same for both Fujitsu and Toshiba.

Load Management
Load the resource information of the drive to the program, including the drive series, model number and other parameters of the drive.

Read FW:
Backup the firmware by modules and tracks

Update FW:
Update the existing corrupted firmware with a donor one to repair the drive.

FW Diagnosis
Check the structure of every firmware module.

Defects Operation
Clear P-list, clear G-list, disable zone, defects to P-list, surface scan, zerofill and other defects fixing features and solutions are included.

Terminal Mode
It makes it easy to monitor, view the status of the patient drive and help to make a fast diagnose onto the drive and find out a right solution. Besides you can perform hdd repair using HDD ATA commands here.

Heads Operation
Head depop-Forward and Random head depop.

ROM Operation
ROM read/write, you have to make sure there’s BIOS chip on the PCB, like the following pictures show (in red). If there is not a BIOS chip on the PCB, it means the ROM has been embedded in the main chip.

Power Monitor
Monitor power supply of HDD and if the console detects abnormal power supply condition, it will cut off the power supply to HDD preventing from burning PCB and VCM chip.

View Sector
View content of each sector, edit any byte in that sector and write any byte to the disk.

Other Operation
User can modify serial number and LBA, reset S.M.A.R.T, remove password, manage security system, spin off/up motor and power off/on.
