About Data Recovery Tools - PC RECOVERY, LLC |
I may very well begin training here for SalvationData USA.
I think that the data recovery tools inexpensive compared to other competing products. Packaging is good. The data recovery tools come in Pelican-like cases. Shipping is rapid.
There are only 1 alternative data recovery tools-
PC3000.There is NO comparison in price, PC3000 is over 15k here in USA. and is NOT portable.
You get support from SD - via remote control - support is easiest via MSN messenger with techs then TEAMVIEWER software.
All of SD Doctors + Data Compass + flash doctor = PC3000 + Data Extractor + PC3000 flash.
Only trouble with remote support is simply time zone differences, but if you can make an appointment with them, they can do remote assistant at home for you to help solve your problems with their data recovery tools.
Software is VASTLY improved in just past few years.
English manuals are the most lacking thing in the past, but the many case studies and demos and user forums help and make up for it.What's more, they are improved their manuals recently for all the data recovery tools, which has much improvement.
The data recovery tools work well on Intel based computers (we use Dell Optiplex 360, etc with no problems),Also works well on new Atom netbooks which is really good for portability which is a strength of SD products, (they have USB which is a pro and con) Pro for convenience and Con for speed limitations.
I don't think USB is limitation for me because fixing a hdd your are working with modules and SA.firmware etc, only when cloning the data is it an issue with Data Compass,I think this will soon be USB 3.0 however.Even so, it is pretty fast.
I bought all the data recovery tools long time ago, They are VERY much improved with regular updates and rapid development,Especially The DC i bought has evolved tremendously.
