Another milestone of Data Compass: DCEXP software upgrade

We have released the official version of the DCEXP, the new high-level application of Data Compass system.

Dr-Studio is the high-level software previously integrated with Data Compass, according to our customers that it is time-consuming to read from the hard disk drive with severe bad sector, or postoperative head swap. The reason why Dr-Studio behaves ineffective is that profound-layer read operation, to read the hard drive fully, that is, when access the hard drive, DR-STUDIO automatically scans the drive under every single catalog. In this case, when comes to a hard drive with severe physical bad sector, or thoroughly damaged head, or any mechanical components went through a component swap, there would cause many bad sector and head instability, so it will take days or weeks to recover user data, only do more bad than good to the drives. Even to the worst cases, it will cause computer crushed, or no response at all.

DCEXP is the new released high-level software developed by SalvationDATA, integrated with Data Compass, which will take place of Dr-Studio and effectively work out those problems intervening Dr-Studio.

To compare DCEXP with Dr-Studio, the essential difference is: DCEXP adopts layered read operation, so as to read MFT area directly, access root catalog. Customers are able to recover data effectively via optimal choice, and then deep down into the user data, it maximally saves time from recovering; while in the meantime, using DR-Studio performs a data recovery, especially for severe hard drive bad sector or physical damages, the computer will easily crashed in a fake way or with no response due to the profound scan and one-line technology. Thanks to the release of DCEXP, it will greatly solve these issues by layer-by-layer scan and multi-thread technology.
